# Overview

AOFverse operates on a two-token economy to maintain a balanced and functional ecosystem. The first token, Army of Fortune Coin ($AFC), serves as a utility token within our games, akin to fiat currency, encouraging active spending and participation in the ecosystem. On the other hand, Army of Fortune Gem ($AFG) acts as a governance token, similar to gold, being a scarce resource that holds value and provides holders with a say in the ecosystem's development and premium features. This structure aims to create a sustainable economy, where $AFC stimulates active gameplay and commerce, while $AFG allows for stability and community governance, mirroring the dynamic between fiat currency and gold in traditional finance.
